Marjorie Justine Frogge, 70, of Sherwood, died Nov. 3. A retired school teacher, she was an active member of Park HILL Christian Church.
Ms. Frogge was born Aug. 12, 1945, in Fort Smith, the daughter of Jay O. and Marjorie Boehm. She attended Southwest High School in Kansas City. After earning a bachelor's degree at the University of Missouri, she later received a master's degree in education at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
She was married in 1969 to Gary Frogge, who is deceased. They had one daughter, Stephanie Lee.
The teaching career of Ms. Frogge began in North Kansas City. But the bulk of her teaching career was at schools in the Little Rock area. She retired from Fuller Junior High School in 2006.
Ms. Frogge has been an active member of Park Hill Christian Church for many years. She has overseen the church's food pantry since 2010. Since retiring from Fuller Junior High, she has also been a volunteer at Baptist Hospital in NORTH Little Rock.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie and Austin Gough of Little Rock; a sister and brother-in-law, Kathryn and Byron Calame of Salt Point, NY; and three cousins, Wanda Davison, James Williams, and Julie Brennan, all of Springfield, Mo.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, at Park Hill Christian Church, 4400 John F. Kennedy Blvd., NORTH Little Rock. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the food pantry at the church.
