Marjorie Cooper

Marjorie Cooper, 92, of Ward, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on January 13th, 2025. Marjorie was born on November 30th, 1932, to Nathryn and Birdie Tarkington in Damascus, Arkansas. Marjorie had various careers to support her family from a young age. She married her sweetheart husband Carl Thomas Cooper, and they had three beautiful children together (Carl Wayne, Janice, and Tim). They were married for 61 wonderful years. Family was always the center of her focus throughout her entire life. She always found great joy when spending time with her family. She had a way to make each family member feel special and loved by calling on their birthday singing Happy Birthday to them. 

Marjorie is preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, her son Carl Wayne, husband Carl Thomas Cooper, and various extended family members. 

She is survived by her children, Janice Moore and Tim Cooper, and lots of beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

Services will be held at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, 404 W. Dewitt Henry Dr., Beebe, Arkansas. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 21, 2025, and funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 22, 2025. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. www.smithfamilycares.com
