Marjorie Bearden

Marjorie Jane Knight Bearden, 69, of Sherwood, widow of Thomas Bearden, passed away on Wednesday, May 21, 2008. She was born February 15, 1939 in Shreveport, Caddo, Louisiana, the daughter of Genevieve Bewley and Theodore Marcus Knight, who also preceded her in death, along with her step-father, Leo Gille. Jane was very active in her church, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, in the Primary and Relief Society. Her favorite thing was feeding everyone. She worked for Bank & Business Print Shop until retirement and left many friends.
Jane leaves a son, Phillip H. Bradshaw of Colorado and daughter, Karen Bradshaw Eoff of Oak Grove; six grandchildren, Kristene Michelle Watson and husband, Nathan of Oklahoma, Lindsay Beth and Amy Elizabeth Eoff, Zachary Phillip, Jackson Tyler and Sawyer Barton Bradshaw; her twin sister, Jean Henderson and husband, Mike of Texas; friend, Terry Kurkowski; her in-laws, Danny Bearden, Pat and Susie Bearden, Bob and Carol Bearden and Margaret Zakrzewski and her husband, Frank; many nieces, nephews and cousins; many wonderful friends, and Brownie, her dog.
Her sister and her family are very grateful for the many doctors, nurses, physical therapists and aides at Baptist Medical Center who took wonderful care of Jane. She loved them all.
The family will greet friends at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 905 Kierre, North Little Rock, this evening, Friday, May 23 from 6-8 p.m. Services will be held on Saturday, May 24 at 10:00 a.m. at the church, officiated by Bishop Jerry Johnson, followed by entombment at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander.
