Marion Wine

Marion D. Wine, a beloved father, brother, and friend, peacefully departed this life on February 25, 2025, at the age of 62. Born on March 2, 1962, Marion graced the world with his presence and left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Preceded in death by his cherished parents, Bobby Wine of DeValls Bluff and Betty Wine of Little Rock, as well as his half-brother Michael Wine, Marion is deeply missed by his devoted family. He is survived by his two children, Jordan Kayleigh Wine and Taylor Courtland Wine, whose lives he enriched with his wisdom and love. He is also remembered fondly by his sister Wanda Price and her husband Gary, along with his nephew Dusty Price, his half-brother Mitchell Wine, and his half-sister Michelle Drysdale and her husband Chris. Marion's legacy continues through his two aunts, Mary Raborn and Kay Harlin, as well as many beloved cousins and his loyal K-9 companion, Amera.

Marion's academic journey was marked by distinction, holding a Bachelor of Science in Workforce Education and Development, summa cum laude, from Southern Illinois University, alongside a Master of Arts in International Affairs from The George Washington University. His remarkable career led him to work overseas as a Government Contract Worker and in Human Resources, where he spent numerous years cultivating friendships that would last a lifetime. Even into his retirement, Marion remained in touch with the many friends he made during his professional travels.

A memorial service celebrating Marion's vibrant life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on March 1st at the Sandstone Church of Christ in Little Rock. As we gather to honor his memory, let us remember the kindness, intellect, and warmth that Marion brought into our lives. He will be cherished and missed, but his spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those he loved and touched.
