Marion Stivers

Marion Lou Stivers, 90, of Little Rock, passed away March 8, 2021. She was born in East End to Cory and Bertha Jones Young. She enjoyed cooking and was an avid cookbook collector. She had a huge heart for dog rescuing, having rescued many dogs over the years. She was a long time resident of Houston, Texas and in her later years, was an active member of Springlake Church of the Nazarene in East End.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, Manell Stivers and Jim Kay, daughter, Landa Autry, and her siblings, Margie Hamaker, C.E. Young, Ruby Conners, Jimmie Randall and Mickey Moseley. She is survived by her stepsons, Mike Stivers and Mark Stivers, a host of nieces and nephews, and friends who she enjoyed playing cards with.

Visitation will be Wednesday, March 17 from 5-7 p.m. at Springlake Church of the Nazarene. A graveside service will be held Thursday, March 18th at 11:00 a.m. at Salem Cemetery in East End with Bro. Phil Stein officiating.
