Marion Frances Blunk-Bryant Epps, 88 of Searcy, was called to her Heavenly home on December 17, 2009. She was preceded in death by her first husband of sixty-five and a half years Victor Phillip Bryant, infant son Charles Wayne, daughter Vickie Frances Hinson, her parents James Earl Blunk and Icie Blunk-Scott, two brothers James William "Bill" and Charles "Bub" Blunk. She was the employed as the secretary at TIMEX and Arkansas Employment Security Department. A faithful member of Gardner memorial United Methodist Church in North Little Rock, she was a member of United Methodist Women Serendipity Group and Senior Church Group XYZ. Following her marriage to Guy W. Epps and moving to Searcy her church membership was transfer to the Searcy church. Marion was a talented seamstress and skilled in crocheting and knitting. Loving to dance, she attended line dancing and PACE exercises at Patrick Hays Center in North Little Rock.
She is survived by her second husband Guy W. Epps, daughter Nancy Jo Summers of Benton, stepson John L. "Larry" Epps, his wife Lisa and their daughter Rachel, six grandchildren; Victor Wayne Hinson, Dee Angela Pederson and her husband Michael of Mayflower; Christopher Hinson and wife Teresa of Bentonville, Karen Reed and husband DeWayne of Mabelvale, Sharon Hamby and husband Blake of Benton, and Susan Thomas and husband Jon of Little Rock, seven great grandchildren, four nieces and one nephew. Visitation will be on Sunday, December 20, 2009 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Huson Funeral Home in Sherwood.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 21, 2009 at Hsuon Funeral Home Chapel in Sherwood with a burial following at Arkansas Memorial Gardens in Jacksonville. Sign an online guestbook www.husonfuneralhome.com
