Marion Allen

Marion Eugene “Gene” Allen, 89, of North Little Rock passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2019. He was born October 10, 1929 in Earlsboro, Oklahoma to Marion and Mary Allen. He was a member of Baring Cross Baptist Church, retired from the U.S. Air Force after 21 years and worked for Teletype for 18 years.

Gene is survived by his wife of 68 years, Virginia Allen; three children, Cindy Boone (Jerry), Marian Sowell (Donald) and Margie Nebling (Ray); three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and his sister, Beverly Allen Majors. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Robert Charles Allen and his sister, Mary C. Johnson.

A visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, June 24, 2019 at Smith – North Little Rock Funeral Home. Service will be 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, June 25th at the funeral home. Burial will be in AR State Veterans Cemetery.
