Marinelle Nation

Marinelle “Mimi” Nation, 76, of Little Rock, passed away August 22, 2021 at her home. Born in Little Rock to William and Mary Nell Donham. She called Little Rock her home where she raised her wonderful family. She retired from the Arkansas Department of Transportation after 20 years of service. She was also a member of Agape Church of Little Rock.

She is survived by her children, Thomas Gregory Nation, his wife Jeanette, Anthony Wayne Nation, his wife Cheryl, and Michael Andrew Nation; grandchildren, Kayla Nation, Hallie Nation, Kyle Nation, Tyler Nation, Austin Nation, Quest Nation and Kolby Nation; great-grandchild, Jackson Smith; and numerous extended family and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, William H. Donham, Jr, Judy Donham-Wright and Debbie Donham-Oskowis, and grandson, Andy Nation.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Little Rock Animal Village, 4500 Kramer St., Little Rock, AR 72204.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 26 from 5-7 p.m. at Smith Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct., Little Rock. Graveside service will be Friday, August 27 at 2:00 p.m. at Roselawn Memorial Park, 2801 Asher Avenue, Little Rock.  Due to Covid-19, masks are preferred but not required.
