Marilyn “Susie” House, age 63, of Glenwood, passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2020.
She was born on March 13, 1957, in Garland, Texas, the daughter of Donald Wayne Crandall and Mary Lillian Lacy Crandall. On June 1, 1977, she was married to Arthur “Pockets” House, who preceded her in death on July 12, 2018. She was also preceded in death by her parents.
She was a faithful member of the Trinity Holiness Church in Glenwood, where she loved helping her husband, Arthur, sing. She loved flowers and had a deep passion for all animals. Susie dearly adored her family and will be remembered for her kind and caring heart.
Susie is survived by her sister, Brenda Joyce Thomasson of Hot Springs; her special nephews and niece, James Hemund and his wife, Irasema, of Glenwood, Amanda Thomasson and her fiancée, Jason House, of Hot Springs and Jeremiah Thomasson and his wife, Angel, of Romance; numerous extended family members; and a host of wonderful friends.
Graveside services will be held at 2:30 PM, Monday, October 19, 2020, in the Mount Tabor Cemetery with Bro. Sammy Cottrell officiating.
Social distancing directives will be in place.
Pallbearers will be the men of Trinity Holiness Church.
Honorary pallbearers will be the nurses and staff of National Park Medical Center and her church family, whom she cherished so much.
