Marilyn Fisher

Marilyn Sue Fisher, age 74, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones Thursday, June 18th, 2020. She was born January 11th, 1946 in Searcy, Arkansas and was preceded in death by her parents, Carlee and Eva Hall.

On December 1st, 1967 Marilyn Sue eloped and married the love of her life, James Frank
Fisher, who preceded her in death May 13th, 2013. Together they owned, operated and retired from Fisher's Used Cars in North Little Rock. They had two children, daughter, Tammy Lynn Fisher Hatfield and son, James Brent Fisher, who preceded her in death on November 1, 2008.

Family was everything to Marilyn Sue and it was with open arms she and her husband welcomed their son-in-law, Loren Hatfield, to the family May 5th, 1989. Loren quickly captured his in-laws' hearts and Sue and Frankie loved, appreciated and respected him deeply. Along with Wife, Mom and Mother-in-law, one of the titles she cherished most in life was "Mimi" to her four grandchildren, Jeffery "Jeff" Hatfield, Skylar Hatfield Hill, Brianna Fisher and Aidan Fisher. She leaves them each a legacy of perseverance and grace in times of pain, unyielding faith in God and her eternal love.

Marilyn Sue will be remembered for her love for family followed by a love for pets, people, country music, boating, road trips with her sister and her love for the warmth of the sun upon her face. She was blessed with a gentle and humble spirit who embraced everyone with kindness and acceptance. A purer heart upon the earth cannot be found.

In addition to her daughter, Tammy, son-in-law, Loren, four grandchildren, grandson-in-law, Blake Hill, grandson Jeff's sweetheart, Katie Pennington, she is survived by a multitude of nieces and nephews, two aunts, a host of cousins, her special sister-cousin, Belinda Young, her beautiful rescued fur baby, Bella, her beloved brother, Wally Hall (Monica), and cherished sister, Lola Hall.

Honoring Sue's wishes there will be no public funeral service or final goodbyes. Instead, in her memory, commit a random act of kindness, lend a helping hand to someone in need, rescue a stray cat or dog, take a boat ride or simply take a moment to look up and feel the warmth of the sun upon your face.

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. II Timothy 4:7
