Marilyn Cheatham

Marilyn Sue Cheatham, 76 of Hensley, Arkansas passed away on December 25, 2019.  She was born March 15, 1943 in Princeton, Kentucky to the late Marian and Ola Mae Cook Prowell.  Marilyn was preceded in death by her first husband, Thomas Gilkey, grandson Daniel Fitzgerald and by her two brothers, Bob and Gary Prowell.  She is survived by her husband of 12 years Clifford Cheatham, by daughter Carol Fitzgerald (Chuck), and son Charles Gilkey (Jamie) both of Princeton, Kentucky; grandchildren Mandie Hooks, Joel Fitzgerald, T.J. Gilkey and Kaitlyn Boyd and great-grandchildren Paisley Hooks, Max Hooks, Taylee Hooks and Colton Fitzgerald.  She is also survived by her sister Judy Bannister (Larry) of Princeton and many nieces, nephews and extended family that will miss her.

Marilyn was employed at First Bank in Princeton for 20 years and served as the Caldwell County Treasurer for 5 years.  She was a member and attended the White Sulphur Baptist Church until moving to Arkansas where she then became a member of the Landmark Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, December 28, 2019 at the Landmark Baptist Church (17201 Arch Street Pike, Little Rock, AR 72206) with visitation prior to service from 2:00-3:00 p.m.  Burial and graveside service will be in the Lamasco Baptist Church Cemetery in Lamasco, Kentucky on Monday, December 30 at 11:00 a.m.
