Marilyn Kirkindall Brown of Little Rock, age 82 was Welcomed into Christ Kingdom May 16, 2015 by her husband of 55 years, Joseph E. Brown, Jr., infant son, John Michael, grandson, Marcus Perkins, granddaughter, Schuyler Gates, parents, Muriel Wright and C.S. Kirkindall.

She was born on October 17, 1932 in East Prairie, MO to Muriel and C. S. Kirkindall and spent her childhood in Jonesboro, AR. She met and married Joe Brown in 1950 as he was just finishing his service in WW II in the US Army.

Survivors include Joe E. "Joe" Brown, III (Debra), Marilyn "Joanne" Filiatreau (Phil) and Charles R. "Chuck" Brown (Tracie), Samantha M. "Sami" Grace. She spent the last five years with her daughter, Sami Grace and Joe Beinche who were her constant companions and caretakers, eight grandchildren (all boys except seven), fifteen great grandchildren; sister, Beverly Russell (Bob); brother, Howard Kirkindall (Daveta) and a host of loving nieces and nephews and many more relatives.

The three things in life that gave her pleasure were cooking for family and friends, sewing for others and making custom Christmas stockings for each family member.

Interment will occur next year on Good Friday, March 25, 2016 into Arlington National Cemetery with her husband. The family would like to invite everyone to attend her service in Arlington, VA.
