Marilyn Bainter

Marilyn Sue Gill Denton Bainter, 90, of North Little Rock passed away Monday, January 6, 2020. She was born March 11, 1929 in North Little Rock to James and Lena Beard Gill.

She enjoyed the EHC Club, crafting, cooking, dancing, traveling and folk music and was a member of Baring Cross Baptist Church.

Sue is survived by four sons, Bill Denton (Ellen), Jim Denton (Gwen), Paul Denton (Betty) and Larry Denton (Lisa); sister, Pearl Bentley; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her infant son, James Albert Denton;  husband, Ardell Bainter, Sr.; three siblings, Francis Gill, Ouida Reimann and an infant brother.

A visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 9, 2020 at Smith – North Little Rock Funeral Home. Service and Interment will follow at 12:00 noon at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
