Marileigh Irma Jeffers, 93, of Jacksonville, Arkansas was born on February 8, 1925 to Leslie and Mary Bushey. She passed away in her home of seventy years on November 25, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Anderson Jeffers; her parents; brother, Dr. James Bushey; sister, Evangeline Ellis; son, Robert Louis Jeffers and one granddaughter, Jae Lynn Russell.
Marileigh is survived by two sons, David Jeffers (Susan) and Bobby Jeffers; daughter, Becky Russell (Ralph); grandchildren, Aundra, Amanda, Nathan, Bobby Allen, Andrew, Casey and Abby; great-grandchildren, Emma, Lily, Sydney, McKenzie and B. She is also survived by a host of family, friends and loved ones.
Each member of her family received personal, loving, and Godly wisdom during visits. Marileigh was a teacher, caregiver and counselor to generations of friends and family.
The family would like to thank caregivers: Jacklyn Farnam, Abby Russell and Mary from Baptist Hospice.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 28, 2018 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Bayou Meto Baptist Church in Jacksonville. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, November 29, 2018 at the church. Burial will be at Bayou Meto Cemetery.
