Marie Gilpin Boyer, 86, of North Little Rock, passed away at her home Friday, October 7, 2011. She was born July 9, 1925 in Beedeville, AR, to Ernie and Birdie Gilpin. Marie worked as a cosmetologist for over 55 years. She was a member of Park Hill Presbyterian Church and enjoyed serving her community through numerous community service projects.

She is survived by her son, William Boyer and his wife Sherrie of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; granddaughter, Jeanna Easley and husband Wayne of Fouke, Arkansas; two grandsons, Jeff Boyer of Ward, Arkansas, and Michael Boyer of Sherwood, Arkansas; four great grandchildren, Alexis and Kirsten Boyer, Dakota and Kathleen Easley; sister Ann Campbell and her husband, Eldred of Shreveport, Louisiana; and a host of other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Hickman Boyer; grandson, Stephen Boyer and brother, Bud Gilpin.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Park Hill Presbyterian Church. Burial will be at Rest Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday at the Funeral Home. Online obituary and guest registry at www.nlrfh.com.
