Marian Bryant Schultz, 84, of North Little Rock died October 7, 2008. She was the widow of the late Edward J. Schultz and the daughter of the late George J. and Anna S. Bryant. Her parents were early settlers of the Park Hill area of North Little Rock. Mrs. Schultz was retired from Metropolitan Life Insurance Company having worked in Indianapolis, Indiana and Little Rock. She was a member of the Metropolitan Veterans Association, recipient of the Ecker Award and the St. Louis Region Award for outstanding service. Mrs. Schultz was a member of Lakewood United Methodist Church and the National Association of Decorative Painters.
She is survived by two sisters, Jessye Dunlop of Kansas City, Missouri and Jo Coman of Lexington, Kentucky; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 16, 2008 in the North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel, 1921 Main, 758-1170. Burial will be in the Little Rock National Cemetery. The family will receive friends 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Thursday at the Funeral Home. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
