Our mother, Marian Frances Hogue Green passed away peacefully on June 26, 2019 at home in Princeton, Texas surrounded by her devoted family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Carroll Gene Green; her parents, Roy and Violet Hogue; her sisters Vivian Alice Fair and Mildred Lucille Welch; and her great-grand-daughter, Mallory Blankenship.
She is survived by her 5 children, Sandra (Jimmy) Blankenship, Linda (Richard) Smith, Donna (Tony) McCabe, John (Donna) Green, and Dennis (Sharon Harris) Green; 25 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
Our mother lived a very full and happy life. She was raised by two of the best parents with the best older sisters. She met and married the love of her life and was married for 35 years. Together they raised 5 grateful children who loved, honored and (most of the time) obeyed their parents. Her grandchildren loved and respected her, and always wanted to be in her presence. Her example of a Christlike life was to be admired with reverence. She continued to serve others throughout her long life, with strong hands and a joyful heart. No one enjoyed serving our Heavenly Fatherâs children more than our mother. We are quite sure she is continuing this act of love and service even now, as she has gone on to her next life.
Mother, we will miss you, we love you, we honor you, and we look forward to the day when we once again reunite as an eternal family.
As you always taught us â âFamilies Are Foreverâ
Grateful we are for our forever family.
