Marguerite Ewing, 88, of North Little Rock passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2012. She was a member of Levy United Methodist Church, where she enjoyed the Quilting groups and she had many friends there. She loved her family and her grandchildren were her life.
She is survived by her daughter, Rita Ewing Hoskins, of North Little Rock; daughter-in-law, Barbara Ewing, of Oklahoma; grandson, James Hoskins, Jr. and wife, Kristal, granddaughter, Lindsay Houston and husband, Matt, grandson, Bryan Evan Conley, granddaughter, Kristin Conley; great-grandsons, Caleb Hoskins, Jordan Branson and Colton Branson; two sisters, Nancy Knight, of Houston, Texas and Josephine Scruggs, of Clayton, Louisiana; nieces, Charlotte Carnegie and Catherine Posey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Evan Ewing and son, Eddie Ewing.
Memorials may be made to Out in the Woods Animal Rescue, P.O. Box 7365, Little Rock, Arkansas 72217.
A graveside service will be held 10:00 a.m., Monday at Little Rock National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., Sunday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest registry at www.nlrfh.com.
