Margia Lee Thomas, 90, of Bismarck, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, June 13, 2021, surrounded by her family. She was born December 27, 1930 in St. Louis, Missouri as the first of three girls to William and Wilma Bauer.
On September 20, 1947, she married the love of her life, David Dean Thomas. Their first child, Linda, was born in 1950 and was soon followed by Kevin a few years later, and then Kimberly in 1966. Later in life, she became mother to Chans.
As a proud military wife, Margia lived in such places as Hawaii, Panama and California before finally settling in Arkansas in 1971. She and her husband loved going to the VFW where she enjoyed playing pool, bingo and dancing. Her children were her priority and she was always cheering Chans on at his sporting events.
She is predeceased by her husband; her parents; her daughter, Linda Womack; and her sister, Billie Krull.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Kevin Thomas of Bismarck; Kimberly Wells of Beebe, and Chans (Chelsea) Thomas of Bismarck; her grandchildren, Chasity Podwoski, Jodie (Charlie) James, Courtney Forman, Misty Wells, and Lilith Thomas; great grandchildren, Victoria Podwoski, Trey Podwoski, Tony Podwoski, Tyler Podwoski, Braxton Forman, Lewis Forman, Brinlei Forman, Raiden Cook; her sister, Geri Brown; and a son-in-law, Wendal Womack.
