Margarett Hinson

Margarett Sue Hinson, 71, of North Little Rock passed away April 30, 2019.  She was born in Stuttgart, Arkansas to the late James D. Cooper and Helen I. Hesse Cooper on January 11, 1948.  She owned Midtown Billiards and helped establish other bars, including TC’s Midtown Grill North in Conway, owned by Thomas Colclasure and Four Quarter Bar in NLR, owned by Conan Robinson.  She was a talented artist and enjoyed teaching art at the Hayes Center.  Maggie was an active member of Liberty Fellowship Church for the last 17 years.  She was known for her generosity, joyfulness and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her children:  David Shipps and wife Judi of North Little Rock and Dorothy Northern and husband Steven Ross of Memphis; brother, John David Cooper and his wife Diane; and her beloved fur baby, Matilda.  Maggie was preceded in death by her siblings:  James F. Cooper and Barbara L. Scott; and her husband, Jimmy W. Hinson.

Memorial service will be at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 15, 2019, at Smith North Little Funeral Home in the Chapel.
