Margaret Vick

Margaret Aleen Satterfield Vick, 94, of North Little Rock went to be with our Lord and Savior on Sunday, December 11, 2016. She was born to the late Guy Vandover Satterfield and Elsie Ballard Satterfield of North Little Rock.
Aleen was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 65 years, Lynn Vick, and one sister, Orvilee Satterfield. Aleen is survived by a sister, Madie Jones of North Little Rock; three sons and one daughter, Richard Vick (Judy) of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Stephen Vick (DeAnn) of Dardanelle, Phillip Vick (Kellie) of North Little Rock, Lynnette Taylor (Bill) of Mt. View; five grandchildren, Brian Vick (Astrid), Dillon Vick, Cassie Richards (Dallion), Jan Orr (Joel), Michael Morgan (Kirstin) and five great-grandchildren.
Aleen was a member of Fellowship North and throughout her life she was involved in many bible study groups, community activities, gardening clubs and quilting clubs.
Aleen's life was shaped around and dedicated to building and maintaining the most beautiful home that radiated love from the second you walked in the door. She was a part of the "Greatest Generation" who held down the house while her husband was away at war. Her strong love and dedication to her family and God are virtuous qualities that her friends and family will cherish for the rest of their lives.
The family would like to thank Foxridge NLR Memory Care staff, Baptist Springhill 3rd floor Ortho staff and Baptist Hospice for all the love and care they showed to Aleen.
In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to Baptist Hospice, 3333 Springhill Drive, North Little Rock, AR 72117.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 16, 2016 at Smith - North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Pinecrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, December 15, 2016 at the funeral home.
