Margaret Marie Selman, 96, of North Little Rock went to be with her eternal Father on Tuesday, July 01, 2014. Marie was born on August 19, 1917, near Fordyce, Arkansas. She was a very devout Christian who was a member of Unity Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking, working in her yard and most of all her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Waymon Selman; parents, Andy and Dollie Pennington and her two siblings, Aubrey Pennington (Ruth) and Reba Faulk (Eldon). She is survived by her son, Ben Selman (Shawn); two grandchildren, Laurabeth Sanchez (Paul) and Matthew Selman (Pam); and three great-grandsons, Kameron and Paul Dylan Sanchez and Daniel Dring.
Memorials may be made to Unity Missionary Baptist Chuch, 1223 Garfield Drive, Little Rock, Arkansas 72206.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at North Little Rock Funeral Home. Burial will be 3:30 p.m. at Stoney Point Cemetery in Fordyce.
