Margaret Justice

Margaret H. Justice, 95 of North Little Rock, passed away August 13, 2019 at Baptist Hospital- Springhill.

Born July 17, 1924 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Henry Craig Hoffman and Nellie Mae (Jones).  Margaret had a long career in the food industry and worked in various cafeterias until she retired from Maybelline. She is preceded in death by her parents, and her sons, Billy Lemmer and Gaines Lee Lemmer and her daughter, Margaret Iona (Toodle) Harrison; her siblings, Clara Lou Haney, Kathleen Ott, Evelyn Springer, Christine Welsh, Alnita Gill, Joe Hoffman, Levon Hoffman, and Monnie Mae Beansdorfer. She is survived by one sister; Nellie Jean Long; her daughters, Carolyn Sue Morriss, Frances Colbenson and Barbara (husband Dale) Smith; grandkids, Annete Lemmer, Tammy Tazelaar , Dotty Newsome, Heather Lemmer, Aaron Lemmer, Danny Lemmer, Renee Ivy, Rachel Lemmer , Lisa Harrison, Tonya Jones, Paul Colbenson, Jodie Boonstra, Terri Colbenson- Nelson, Linda Brazeal, Robert Smith, Melissa Bristow, and Robin Benetz; 26 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren.

The only thing Margaret loved more than her family was animals. She was well known to adopt any animal she came across, even if this meant stopping in the middle of the freeway. This is
how she got one of her dogs named “FREEWAY." She was the daughter of a Candy Maker and loved making trays full of homemade candies to pass out to family and friends.
