On February 5, 2025, Margaret Jensen, after serving the Lord and her family here on earth, received her wings. Love and light, together with the love and gratitude of her family and friends now surround her in the highest place.
“Margie” as she was known by everyone was born in Palestine, Arkansas on December 12, 1931. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Blessed by the Lord, she lived 93 years.
Margie was a lovely woman who always wore a smile. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends who always knew they were loved and welcomed. She made the world a better place.
She was a graduate of Stuttgart High School and attended college at the University of Arkansas. In her early years she was a stewardess for Delta Airlines. She married Harold Jensen, deceased, on April 16, 1955. They remained together until his death, celebrating their fifty-year anniversary in calendar year 2005. Margie spent 28 years working for what is now First Security Bank in Beebe. She began as a teller and retired as vice president.
She was predeceased by her parents, Everett and Violet Kitley of Stuttgart, Arkansas, and her daughter, Lea Ann Jensen, a true light to this world, in 2023. She was also predeceased by two sisters, Betty Wilson and Carol Schemensky.
She is survived by her son, Terence Jensen (Lisa), three grandchildren, Lauren Griffey, Paige Hayes (Hayden) and Brooklyn Jensen and one great grandchild, Kennedi Griffin. She is also survived by nephews Mike Wilson and Robert Lucke (Madeline) and nieces Dianna Grey, Lisa Banks (Charlie), and Lori Massey (Richard). She is survived by great-nephew Scott Van Camp (Sarah) and great niece Sarah Kirk (Petey) who she was very fond of.
Margie, from your entire family, thank you for your love and happiness given to us. May the Lord be with you always.
