Margaret Janis Young
Margaret âJanisâ Lamey Young, 74, went to heaven on October 19, 2023. She was born on June 3, 1949, in Conway, Arkansas, to the late Clayton and Dora Libby Lamey.
She was an active member of Conway First Baptist Church. Janis loved her Alathian Sunday School Class. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed talking on the phone with Judy Fowler and Shirley Merritt every day.
Janis is a 1967 graduate of Conway High School and attended Petit Jean Vo-Tech. She was a Nursing Home Administrator for many years.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband Paul Young; daughter April Kellar; grandson Jake Kellar; brother Clay Lamey (Laura); nephews Les Lamey (Lexi) and Adam Lamey (Tracy); great nephews and nieces Drew, Lexi, Adalyn, Hugh; and cousin, Sally Ingram.
Her family is grateful for all the compassionate people that took care of her in the nursing home.
Memorials may be made to Conway First Baptist Church or Conway Central Baptist Church Food Pantry.
A private service was held on October 24.
