Margaret Ann Collins Hughes age 71 of Donaldson died Monday, January 10, 2011 at her home. She was born December 19, 1939 in Camden, Arkansas the daughter of the late O. Y. and Lillie Mae Gordon Collins. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
Survivors include her husband of fifty-four years, Charles F. Hughes; one daughter, Rita Ann Cunningham and husband, Bruce of Star City, Arkansas; four sons, Dr. Ricky Hughes and wife, Myra of Donaldson, Arkansas; Dean Hughes and wife, Kerrie of Waterville, Minnesota; Allen Hughes and wife, Sharon of Poyen, Arkansas; Jeff Hughes of Donaldson, Arkansas; two sisters, Lou Richards and husband, Clarence of Cedarville, Arkansas; Gerry Carter of Hollywood, Arkansas; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Friday, January 14th at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church near Donaldson with Bro. Ronnie Hardin and Bro. Hollis McDermott officiating. Interment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 PM Thursday at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia. Pallbearers will be Bradley Hughes, Cody Hughes, Brent Cunningham, Kevin Cunningham, Allen Cherry and John Hughes. Honorary pallbearer will be Heath Hughes. Memorials may be made to Old Pleasant Hill Cemetery Fund% Bill Cordell 15090 Hwy. 9 Malvern, AR. 72104.
