Mardy Brown

Mardy Brown, age 55, of Glenwood, passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2021.

He was born on May 13, 1965, in Murfreesboro, the son of Paul Dean Brown and Lanye Kaye Tidwell Brown. He was preceded in death by his parents.

He was a member of the Mount Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church, enjoyed the outdoors and took great pride in his horses. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his family, especially four-wheeling with his girls. Mardy will always be remembered for his fantastic mustache and his unique giggle, which spread to his eyes, and could make you laugh no matter how you were feeling at the moment, and that special giggle will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his six children, Lauren Smith, Swayze Brown, Seth Brown, Taylor Brown, Caitlyn Brown and Suni Brown; three grandchildren, Lawson Smith, Wyatt Lock and Isaac Brown; four brothers, Mark Brown, Michael Brown, Matthew “Chuck” Brown and Mich Brown; two sisters, Misty Tedder and Mashae Brown; his girlfriend, Theresa McGrew; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.

A memorial graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 27, 2021, in the Mount Tabor Cemetery with Bro. Bruce Tidwell officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home and Crematory, Glenwood.
