Marcus Billingsley

Marcus W. Billingsley, 70, passed away on March 29, 2025, in Little Rock, Arkansas. Born on December 7, 1954, in Helena, Arkansas, Marcus lived a life marked by energy, creativity, and a deep connection to the outdoors and his community.

An avid cyclist and mountain biking enthusiast, he could often be found exploring trails or participating in bike races. His passion for cycling was more than a hobby—it was a way of life that reflected his adventurous spirit and commitment to staying active.

Music was another cornerstone of Marcus’s life. He found joy in both playing and writing music. Whether strumming a guitar or composing original pieces, music provided him with a meaningful outlet for expression.

Marcus also had a special bond with his dog, Mia, whom he trained and worked with regularly. Their companionship was a source of great pride and joy for him.

Marcus is lovingly remembered by his children: Jacob Billingsley, Keenan Billingsley, and Lori Latch; as well as by his grandchildren: Abram Billingsley, Jack Billingsley, Blake Billingsley, Charlie Billingsley, Marcus Latch, and Ruby Latch. He was preceded in death by his mother Helen Billingsley and grandsons Saul Billingsley and Eric Latch.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marcus’s honor to Recycle Bikes for Kids at recyclebikesforkids.org/donate—a cause that reflects his enduring love for cycling and helping others.

May the memory of Marcus W. Billingsley bring comfort to those who knew him and continue to inspire lives filled with passion, purpose, and connection.
