Marcelle Louise Massey Leamons born April 26, 1927 departed this earth for her heavenly home on January 8, 2015. Marcelle attended the Maul Road Church of Christ and the Del City Church of Christ for many years and was a lifelong member of the Union Grove Christian Church in Vaden, Arkansas where her father was an Elder. She was musically gifted and became the Church pianist at age eleven. Marcelle was a devoted wife and mother who enjoyed serving her church, gardening and fishing. She was a world class cook who always made time for her family and community. She loved family and friends with food, especially her amazing pies and biscuits. Her greatest joys in life were her grandchildren and great grandchildren She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years Hugh Leamons, her parents, Guy and Velma Massey and daughter-in-law Peggy Leamons.

She is survived by her daughters, Brenda (Dwight) Carpenter, Lana (Larry) Shuck, one son Hugh Leamons Jr., and son by heartstrings, Bill (Elaine) Nash, grandchildren, Jerry Carpenter, Jason Shuck, Ashley Leu, Chance Leamons, and Melissa Davis, great grandchildren, Alyssa Carpenter, Beth Thompson, Lyla Davis Karys Leu, Garreth Davis and Jagger Shuck, and special friend and helper Tommy Graham.

Funeral services will be 10 AM Saturday, January 17, 2015 in the Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Chapel in Arkadelphia. Interment will be in the Davis Cemetery in the Vaden Community. Visitation will be Friday, January 16th at the funeral home from 5-7 PM. Sign on line guest book at www.ruggleswilcox.com .
