Manuel Sanchez Haynes, a beloved soul who brought light and warmth to all who knew him, angels took him by the hand and took him home March 11, 2024. Born on June 19,1996, in Baker City, Oregon, Manuel enjoyed fishing, camping, being in the mountains and spending time with his family and friends. He always had a special place in his heart for the friends he made on his path through life. Manuel always had a helping hand or was a shoulder to lean on. He said even a bad day was a good day if he put a smile on someone's face. He was so loved and will be so missed.
Those who had the privilege of being a part of Manuel's life were forever touched by his compassion and gentle spirit. His memory will be cherished by his surviving family: Harold Haynes (father), Theresa Haynes (mother), Nathanial Hoffman (brother) from Baker City, Oregon, Brandie Epperson (stepsister) from Yakima Washington, and his son by heart, Orion Thompson from Bismark.
A Celebration of Life in honor of Manuel will take place 11:00 am on Saturday, April 6th, 2024, at Geiser Pollman Park in Baker. This event will serve as a beautiful tribute to a life well-lived and a heart deeply loved.
Manuel Sanchez Haynes may have left this world, but his legacy of love and compassion will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He was a shining light extinguished too soon, but his spirit will forever glow brightly in the memories of those who had the pleasure of knowing him. The memories we all share will keep him alive in our hearts. Manuel left this world way too soon. There were so many more memories to be made. He was so young, kind hearted, and such a beautiful soul.
