Mamie H. McMunn Gifford, 93, of Jacksonville passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2010. She was of the Christian faith.
She is survived by four daughters, Zola Parish, Kathryn Carter, Helen Fay, and Janett Weyand; three sons, Lloyd McMunn, Floyd McMunn and Kenneth McMunn; ten granddaughters; nine grandsons; thirty great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; and brother, Delbert Lowery. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elisha and Kattie Lowery; husbands, Jessie L. McMunn and James F. Gifford; two daughters, Mattie Taylor and Rosa Tomlinson; two sons, Van McMunn and J.C. McMunn; two granddaughters and two grandsons.
Memorials can be made to St. Jude Children Hospital, 505 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
A graveside service will be held 1:30 p.m., Friday at Pine Hill Cemetery in Jonesboro. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Thursday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest registry at www.nlrfh.com.
