Malvin ?Tip? Tipton, 62 of Sherwood, passed away on Friday, February 1, 2008. He was a self employed tradesman.
He was survived by his wife of 40 years, Bettie ?Pollard? Tipton of Sherwood; two daughters and sons-in-law, Michelle and David Smith of Pine Bluff, and Caron and Greg Culvey of Sherwood; five brothers, Doss Tipton, Jr. of Mayflower, Morris Tipton of Petal, Mississippi, Lynn Tipton of Pineville, Louisiana, Darryl Tipton of Hayes, Kansas, and Randall Tipton of Blueye, Missouri; one sister, Marilyn Hawes of Vicksburg, Mississippi; two grandchildren, Zachary Smith and Bailey Smith, both of Pine Bluff; and twp grand puppies, Brandi and Sierra Blaze. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Doss and Viola Tipton; two brothers, Charles and Arnell Tipton; and one sister, Virginia Faye Tipton.
Funeral will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.
Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Monday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170.
