Mae Lou (Milam) Collins, 100, of Bryant passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2012. She was a retired caregiver and a member of Bryant Pentecostal Church of God.
She is survived by seven sons, Alfred Doris (Reba) of Ohio, Jim Shaw (Darlyn) of Texas, Robert Collins, Sr. (Lillie) of Bryant, Steve Collins (Julie) of Ft. Smith, Rev. Ervin Collins (Regina) of Conway, Alfred Collins (Virginia) of Conway, and Eugene Collins (Wanda) of Ft. Smith; two daughters, Virginia Mae Turner, of Tennessee and Bernice Sicso (Phil) of Ft. Smith; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, great-great-great-grandchildren and a special daughter-in-law, Wanda Jo Collins, of Conway. She was preceded in death by her husband, D.J. Collins; four daughters, Juanita Hyatt, Frances Yarbrough, Betty Holland and an infant daughter and four sons, Kenneth Shaw, Sr., Calvin Shaw, Buck Collins and Michael Collins.
The family wishes express a special thanks to her daughter-in-law, Lillie Kay for being a faithful caregiver.
Memorials may be made to Southern Trace Rehabilitation and Care Center, 22515 Interstate 30, Bryant, Arkansas 72022.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday at Bryant Pentecostal Church of God. Burial will be in Pinecrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest registry at www.nlrfh.com.
