Mack Carger
Mack L. Carger, 94, of Cabot passed away Friday, March 28, 2014, the day after celebrating his 77th wedding anniversary. "Smilin' Mack" was a professional entertainer on stage, radio and television on KARK.
He is survived by his wife, Alene Spurlin Carger; children, Albertina Winter, Roberta Dupree, Michael Carger (Clara) and Dwain Carger (Debbie); five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Lela Johnson Carger; two granddaughters, Brenda James and Rainie Smith; one brother and one sister.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Sylvan Hills Church of Christ Cuba Mission Fund, 117 West Maryland Ave., Sherwood, AR 72120.
