Jimmy Mac Neel, 66, of Arkadelphia went to Heaven on Saturday, February 7, 2015.
His final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that he had touched in some way throughout his memorable life.
Mac was born in Arkadelphia, AR on May 2, 1948, to the late Paul & Eura Mae (Smith) Neel.

He was also preceded in death by his brother, Bobby Paul Neel. He was a lifelong member of Richwoods Baptist Church and attended Third Street Baptist Church.
Mac graduated from Arkadelphia High School in 1966 and attended Henderson State University.
He was past President of Rocking U Round Up Club & past President of Southern Central Arkansas Horse Show Association. He was a member of Waldrum Hunting Club and Perky House. He was in his third term of serving as Justice of the Peace. He took great pride in serving on the Quorum Court and worked hard to make Clark County a better place to live and raise a family.
He started working at 12 years old at Bill Waddell's Stop and Shop and became a butcher while working there before going into the car business. He opened Mac Neel's Auto Sales in the early 70's and was still selling cars locally with Davis Auto Sales. He made several lifetime friends throughout his many years in the car business.
Mac loved spending time at the farm with his family, from hunting to working on the fields to get ready for the annual Dove hunt with his close friends and family. He always put family and friends ahead of himself and would do anything for them.

He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Gay Partridge Neel, two daughters, Darla Neel Givens, Teena Neel Bebee, one son, Marty Neel, all of Arkadelphia, daughter in law, Sara Janis, his sister, Colleen Neel Morris of Duncanville, TX. He was the Proud Papaw of, Shelby, Kurtlyn & Drake Givens, Brayden, Sadee & Josee Bebee, Chloie Neel and Carlie Plyler, all of Arkadelphia and several nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.

Pallbearers will be Brayden Bebee, Drake Givens, Andy Stricklin, Traylon Page, Ken Thrower, Richie Smith, Danny Davis & Lance Garner.
Honorary Pallbearers, Gary Crawley, Terry Waite, Nick Neel, Keith Neel, Ron Daniell, Jim Daniels, Ralph Shoptaw, Dale Acrey, Fred Stricklin, members of Waldrum Hunting Club, his Special Wednesday night friends and the Annual Dove Hunt Crew.

Funeral services will be 2 PM Tuesday, February 10th at Third Street Baptist Church in Arkadelphia with burial in Richwoods Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Monday at Third Street Baptist Church.

The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thanks to the outstanding staff at Twin Rivers Health and Rehab.
