Mabel Caster

Mabel L. Caster, 96, of Sherwood passed away Thursday, November 21, 2019. She was born July 26, 1923 in Marianna, Arkansas to the late William and Susie West. She was a member of North Hills Baptist Church.

Her unselfish service to others has been a beautiful example and has enriched the souls of all she touched.  Time is not measured by the years that she lived but by the deeds that she did and the joy she gave.

Mabel is survived by her sons, Paul T. Caster (Karen), and John Stuart Williamson (Shari E.); granddaughters, Jennifer McCormack (Shawn) and Melissa Martin; great-granddaughters, Noelle Elizabeth McCormack and Stella Ray McCormack; and other extended family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Bill Caster; brothers, Harrison Sims West and John Branch West; and her sister, Agnes Gwen Baker.

A visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, November 25, 2019 at Smith – North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main Street. Funeral will be held 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Rest Hills Memorial Park.
