Lyric Gail Parker, 13, of Jacksonville, formerly of Hope left this world on October 10, 2007 in Methodist Children?s Hospital in San Antonio, Texas to be with her Lord. She was born on April 26, 1994 in Texarkana, Texas to Tracy Parker of Jacksonville and Kimberly Parker of Little Rock. She attended Clinton Primary School in Hope, and Northwood Middle school in Jacksonville. She was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Brenda Gail Harvey of Prescott. Survivors include her loving brother, Tristan Parker and paternal grandparents, Wilson and Pat Parker, of Jacksonville; maternal grandparents, Glenn and wife Jessica Calhoun; two aunts, Angie Easterling and Cari Calhoun; uncle, Brock Searcy; four cousins, Whitney and Seth Easterling, Shyanne Calhoun and Trenton Searcy; two great cousins, Caydon and Harley Helmick, all of Hope.
The family wishes to express a special thanks to Arkansas Children?s Hospital. Lyric touched the hearts of many during her short stay on this earth.
