Lyndell James (Chuck) Warren, age 69 of Sherwood, went to be with his Lord and Savior on April 6, 2007. He was born on October 5, 1937 in Morrilton. He was a member and supporter of Bethel Baptist Church in Jacksonville, a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, and a retired truck driver.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Dora Hendricks, an infant brother, and infant grandson. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Mary Jeanette Warren; his father and wife, C.E. and Katherine Warren of Little Rock; mother-in-law, Ellen Mashburn of Sherwood; and sister Judy (Bill) White of Sherwood; children, James (Susie) Warren of California, Marc Warren of Texas, Susan Warren of California, Karen (Randy) Sutton of Tennessee, Sharon (Danny) Besancon of North Little Rock, Joanie Turner of Sherwood, Margie (Jan) Thurman of Texas, and Laura (Bill) Cormier of North Little Rock; 17 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
Although he will be sorely missed, he is set free from his two-year battle with cancer here on earth. The family asks that any memorials or donations be made to Arkansas Hospice Hospital in North Little Rock, where they provided exceptional care, grace, and tenderness throughout his remaining days with us.
Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, with a graveside service following at Rest Hills Memorial Park in North Little Rock. Brother John Lindsey and Brother Larry Ballard will be officiating.
Pallbearers for the services will be his grandsons.
