Lynda Jester

Lynda S. Jester, 64, of Little Rock, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 30, 2009. Born August 6, 1945 in Dermott, Arkansas to Lynwood and Mildred McCone, she was preceded in death by her parents and an infant grandson, Connor Daniels. She was raised in Pine Bluff, where she graduated from high school in 1963. Lynda graduated from Baptist School of Nursing and received her B.A. degree from St. Francis College in Illinois. She was a Registered Nurse, retired from the UAMS Outpatient Clinic after 34 years of service and was a member of Fellowship Bible Church in Little Rock.
Lynda is survived by her husband, Gary Jester; daughter and son-in-law, Kim and John Berrey of Tulsa, Oklahoma and daughter, Stacy Howell and her fiancé, Kenny Daniels of Joplin, Missouri; grandchildren, Lane and Jack Berrey of Tulsa; brothers, Harvey McCone and wife, Sharon of McLean, Virginia and Craig McCone and wife, Carolyn of Little Rock.
Visitation will be Tuesday, September 1 from 7-8 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), Little Rock. A celebration of Lynda's life will be held on Wednesday, September 2 at 2:00 p.m. at Fellowship Bible Church, followed by interment in Forest Hills Memorial Park at Alexander.
