Lynda McCain Fausett passed away March 31, 2016.
I have had a blessed life. As I look back on my life, I know
God held on and kept my hand in his all the way.
I was born on a warm summer day to loving parents, Hazel and Jarrell McCain. Both preceded me in death. I am survived by my cherished husband and love of my life, A. Smith Fausett of 55 years; and three children, son, Bret Fausett (wife, Hilary and Grandchildren Asher, Ellie, and Clair) of La Canada, California; my daughters, Kelly Fausett Ross (Husband, Mitchell and grandchildren, Mitch and Courtney) of Little Rock and Kristin Fausett Haddock of Dripping Springs, Texas (Husband, Heath Haddock, and grandchildren, Sadie and Emma).
I was a daughter, a wife, a student, a teacher, a mother, and a grandmother. May it be remembered that I cherished, loved, enjoyed, and tried to fill those roles.
I am proud of my education, career as an educator of young children, my faith, my church, the Koinonia Sunday School Class at First United Methodist Church, Little Rock and other civic and volunteer activities.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 8 from 6-8 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.) Graveside services will be Saturday, April 9 at 11:00 a.m. at Pinecrest Memorial Park, officiated by Rev. Ed Matthews. A reception will follow at Kelly Fausett Ross' home.
