Luther Franklin Trigg, age 78 died Sunday, November 13, 2005 in Arkadelphia. He was born March 3, 1927 in the DeGray Community, Clark County, AR, the son of Cyril and Mallie Jones Trigg. He was retired from Reynolds Metals, where he worked as a mechanic, and was a member of the DeGray Baptist Church and the American Legion. He served in the U. S. Army in Germany during the Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 sister, Tennie Trigg.
He is survived by his wife Bobbie Lou Helms Trigg of the home, 1 son, David Trigg of Arkadelphia; 2 daughters, Donna Adkins of Arkadelphia, and Dorothy Rhoads of Dallas, TX; 1 brother Roy Trigg and 3 sisters, Mary Jones, Lula Myers, and Marjorie Kennedy, all of Arkadelphia; 10 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Tues November 15, 2005 at the Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Chapel, with interment at DeGray Cemetery. The service will be officiated by Pastor Bobby Cook, Dr. Bill Viser, and Dr. Cecil Sutley. Visitation will be 5:00 - 7:30 p.m. Monday at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home.
