Luena Parker
Luena "Lou" Creasy Parker, 87 of North Little Rock, born in Newark, Arkansas on October 1, 1924, passed away April 1, 2012. She was a long time member of Oak Grove Church of Christ in North Little Rock.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Will and Gertrude Creasy; a sister, Pearline Martin of Phoenix, AZ; brothers, Hilman Creasy of Phoenix, AZ, and Dale and Murvin Creasy of North Little Rock. She is survived by a brother, Charles Creasy of Payson, Arizona; 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Harry James, and Barbara and Herbert Schmitz, all of North Little Rock; 3 grandchildren, Chris James (Sherina) of Tacoma, WA, Brent Schmitz (Michelle) of Hattieville, Arkansas, and Heather Kret (Jeremy) of North Little Rock; 3 great-grandchildren, Riley Kret, Kyle Kret, and Sierra Schmitz; great-grand dog, Sweetness James; and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Dr. Jeff Carfagno and Dr. Thomas Conley for the years of excellent care, and more recently by Maumelle Health, Odyssey Hospice, and Hospice Home Care Hospital.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Wednesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 10:30 AM Thursday at Bradford Cemetery in Shirley, Arkansas.
