Ludie Tucker
Ludie ( Herron) Tucker age 97, of Curtis, passed away Wednesday, January 07, 2015 at Baptist Medical Center in Arkadelphia. She was born June 16, 1917 in Dardanelle, Arkansas to Humpy and Lottie Williams. After the death of her mother, Lottie she was adopted by Will and Jane Herron of Curtis, Arkansas.
Ludie was a member of Curtis First Baptist Church, a homemaker and a "full time" Granny.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Loye Douglas Tucker and her parents.
Survivors are one son, Troy (Kim) Tucker of Arkadelphia; three daughters, Saundra (Bob) McGalliard of Gurdon, Diane (Satch) Ledbetter of Curtis, Shelia Tucker of Curtis; eight grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 10th at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia. Burial will be in Richwoods Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Friday at the funeral home. Family will be at 105 Pinewood Dr. Gurdon, AR. 71743.
