Lucy Kennedy Driggers Freeman, 94, of Little Rock, widow of Dillard Driggers and Gordon Freeman, passed away December 13, 2009. Born February 15, 1915 to Guilford Oscar Kennedy and Pearl Garrett Kennedy, she was the owner and operator of Lucy's Fashions in Arkadelphia.
She is survived by her daughters, Phyllis Cerrato (Russell), Zoelane Dinwiddie and Nelwyn Bieloh (John); sister, Ora Mae Horn; grandchildren, Cindy Ford (Neil), Beth Carpenter (Larry), William Blevins (Lisa), David Bieloh (Christina), John Bieloh (Sara) and Rob Bieloh ( Angie); and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Fay Horn and Norma Montgomery and one brother, Guy Kennedy.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 16 at 1st Baptist Church, 7th and Pine in Arkadelphia, officiated by Reverend Lee McGalone and Reverend Bill Driggers. Family will greet friends following the church service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Arkansas Children's Hospital.
