Lucille Tapp

Mrs. T. Lucille Tapp, 96 of Beebe joined the heavenly choir on October 22, 2016. She was born October 2, 1920 in McRae, to Floyd and Clemmie (Cook) Morris. Preceding her in death were her parents, and her husband Cecil, two siblings; J. W. (Red) Morris and Rose Marie (Polly) Nettles.

She is survived by a daughter, Phyllis Tapp of Beebe; son, James Tapp of Dallas; grandson, Spencer (Shelly) Tapp of Floyd; two great grandchildren, Spencer and Mattie; and a niece Nancy Reed of Denver, Colorado.

Lucille was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Beebe and the Beebe chapter of the Eastern Star. She loved to crochet and quilt items for friends and family. She loved to cook for family and friends, as long as they wore a shirt and took their hat off at the table! Lucille loved the Eastern Star work and traveled many miles both before and after the time she served as Grand Officer in 1999. She was always ready anytime anyone said "Go." She will be greatly missed and never forgotten.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Smith - Westbrook Funeral Home. The funeral will be Wednesday, at McRae First United Methodist Church at 11:00 am. Interment will be in Lebanon Cemetery. Re-pass for family will be at McRae First United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Lebanon Cemetery, PO Box 74, McRae, AR 72012, OES Estoral Fund or to McRae First United Methodist Church, PO Box 232, McRae, AR 72012.
