Lucille Dobbs

Lucille (Spann) Dobbs, age 88 of Conway passed away on February 24, 2014. She was born August 31, 1925 in England, Arkansas to Monroe and Esta Spann. Lucille was predeceased by her husband John Carroll Dobbs; three brothers, Ernest Spann, Elvin Spann, J.M. Spann and one sister, Pauline Smith. She is survived by one son, Dr. John C. Dobbs (Karen), two grandchildren, Jason C. Dobbs and Alicia C. Eberhard and three great-grandsons, Eli Eberhard, Sawyer Fredrich, and Anthony Dobbs and one brother, Relton Spann (Merle).
Lucille traveled various places in the country with her husband during his military service and they settled in North Little Rock, Arkansas. She worked at Woolworth's Department store in Little Rock for 25 years and was a homemaker.
The family would like to thank the friends and loved ones who visited Lucille, the nurses and staff of Heritage Living Center in Conway for her care the last five years.
Pallbearers will include: Marvin Smith, Dale Smith, Jeremy Smith, David Spann, Steve Spann and Jason Dobbs. Honorary pallbearers include Ralph Smith and Jeremy Spann.
Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday at North Little Rock Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Friday prior to the service. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
