Loy F. Buck

Loy F. Buck, age 80, of Kirby, passed away on Sunday, October 25, 2015. He was born on March 8, 1935 at Alpine, the son of Onis Buck and Magalene Pittman Buck. He was retired from the U. S. Army Corp of Engineers and a member of the Church of Christ. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, working his garden and sharing his vegetables with everyone. He is survived by his wife Kate Buck of Kirby; two children, Kathy Easter of Cabot and Donnie Buck of Kirby; four grandchildren, Cody Don Buck, Austin Lee Buck, Christopher Easter and Courtney Waggoner; five great-grandchildren; his brother, Gary Buck of Hot Springs; his sister, Vida Franks of Arkadelphia; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, October 28, 2015, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Glenwood, with Billy Golden and Pete Pedron officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Interment will be in Ebenezer Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Christopher Easter, Cody Buck, Austin Buck and Kevin Burton.
