Lovella E. Cooper, age 85, of Nebraska City, Nebraska formerly of Malvern, died Tuesday, August 16, 2011 in Nebraska City. She was born February 20, 1926 in Hamilton, Kansas, the daughter of the late Guy and Opal Lorene Needels Webb. She was united in marriage to Harold "Norman" Cooper on November 20, 1943 in Lawrence, Kansas.
Lovella was a loving wife and mother. She worked as a telephone operator in Lawrence, Kansas and Green Forest, Arkansas and was affiliated with the Assembly of God Church in Nebraska City.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold "Norman" Cooper in November of 1976; a sister, Ella Mae and brothers, Eugene and Guy.
Survivors are her four children, Clifford Cooper and wife, Kathleen of Nebraska City, Nebraska, Carol Ann Fields and husband, Jerry of Magnolia, Texas, Steve Cooper and wife, Peggy of Greenfield, Missouri and Patty Prater and husband, Tommy of Malvern, Arkansas; thirteen grandchildren; thirty-eight great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; siblings, Edwin Webb and wife, Meredith of Washington, Dorothy Williams of Kansas, Carol Chastain and husband, Everett of Kansas, David Webb of Montana, Rose Milburn of Kansas, Larry Webb of Kansas; and other family and friends.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, August 20th at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia. Interment will be in Alford Cemetery in the Possum Trot Community. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the family.
