Louise Schoemaker

Louise Schoemaker (Granny) of Little Rock went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 19, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Schoemaker. Louise was the daughter of the late Louis and Ruby Ouzts. She was also preceded in death by her son-in-law, John Skarda, brother, Louis Ouzts, Jr. and two sisters, Ruby Bukowski and Billie Jean McCoig.
Louise was very much loved and will be missed everyday by daughter Charlotte Quillen and husband Jim of Bella Vista, Arkansas and daughter Beverly Skarda of Sherwood, Arkansas, as well as five granddaughters, Leslie Quillen (Billy), Amy Patterson (Josh), Amanda Vance (Travis), Jamie Quillen (Darrell), and Emily Skarda. Granny had six great-grandbabies that she loved dearly, Mason, Triston, Breanna, Austin, Lane and Jonah. Louise is also survived by sisters, Wilma Womack, Willie Mae James (Johnny), Bessie Aunspaugh (Larry), Sandy Davis (Raymond), Janice Feathers (Donnie) and one sister-in-law, Shirley Ouzts.
Louise loved to travel and spend time with her family, especially Christmas. She was a collector of anything with sunflowers.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 21, 2014, at the Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Saturday, November 22 at 1:30 p.m., burial following at Edgewood Memorial Park in North Little Rock.
