Louise Pyron Shuffield

Louise Pyron Shuffield, age 95, of Hot Springs, passed away on Friday, January 21, 2022.

She was born on February 21, 1926, in Hot Springs, the daughter of Alexander Camuel Mahan and Jeffie Mae Richardson Mahan. She is preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Roland Mahan, Columbus Mahan and Tillman Mahan; and three sisters, Lucille Miller, Alta Lauterbach and Merlene Winkle.

Louise was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a friend to all. Growing up she helped out on the farm with the vegetable garden, sewing and making quilts. She loved her family very much and received great joy in her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.

She is survived by two daughters, Beverly Grigsby and her partner, Bob Adams of Hot Springs and Susan Green of Hot Springs; four grandchildren, Charles Ray Nantz, Ronald Chad (Becky) Green, Josh Aaron (Amanda ) Green and Caleb Ty (Candice) Green; six great-grandchildren, Caleb Ryan Nantz Conner Ray Nantz, Joshua Dillon (Gabby) Green, Savana Michelle Green, Braden Chad Green and Logan Nicholas Green; one sister, Bertie Mullins of Hot Springs; several nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Smith Family Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs, formerly known as Davis-Smith Funeral Home.

Due to Covid there will be a Memorial Service via Zoom. Please join at 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 5, 2022.
